In fact if I knew how (and perhaps I should learn) I bet it would be a simple VBA script to have the replace command happen to all the ATC files in a folder (pallets) and even get the script to automatically insert the username (%username%) - but I don't - my degree having been in fortran & pascal which have gone the way of Sanskrit. I could go into the "Pallets" folder created when one initially creates a tool pallet, open each atc file in notepad and using the replace command switch my name for each individual user and my problem is solved - since that is the only differences in the pathing of the source file and why I was disapointed when %username% wouldn't play nice - but how tedious would that be with one ATC file per source drawing/pallet (annotation symbols, sheet borders, sheet titles, detail borders, detail titles, electrical icons, plumbing icons, etc.
